Pricing questions
Is LeafBound a subscription?
No. You pay once for the current major version and keep using it for as long as you like. Minor updates in that version are free and install automatically. A future major version will be a separate, optional purchase.
Can I upgrade from Book to Academic later?
Yes. The upgrade costs $50, so Book plus the upgrade costs the same as buying Academic outright. Books you have already made keep working in either edition.
What happens to Academic content in the Book edition?
Nothing is deleted. Existing citations, commentary and equations stay readable and exportable; the Academic tools are needed only to add or edit them.
How many computers can I install it on?
Each licence activates one Windows PC at a time. Disconnect the old PC from your LeafBound account to move the licence to a new one.
What does the free trial include?
Every Book and Academic tool for 14 days. Trial exports carry “Made with a LeafBound trial” on each page. Buying removes the mark from new exports, and your books carry over unchanged.
How do refunds work?
Open a request through LeafBound support and tell us what happened. Every request is reviewed individually by a person.
Do you offer discounts for students, schools or presses?
Not as a published plan yet. Write to info@netism.org if you need several licences.
